Amusing Pictures
"No apologies"
I've had to shrink most of these pictures down to make the page tidy.
Most of them will get bigger or become animated if you click on them.
I leave it up to you, dear visitor, to decide whether this is desirable.
I made most of these pictures to post on the popular messageboard
b3ta,
but for some reason I felt compelled to inflict them
on innocent visitors to my website as well.
A few were made with Photoshop, but most were spawned with the aid of that delightfully
named alternative, The GIMP.
It does pretty much the same job, but it's free. So if for some reason you want
to emulate the horrors presented upon this page,
by all means download it and give it a go...

VROOOOOOOOOM!

I have reinvented the hydraulic ram - click the pic for animation!
I made this from a wooden monkey I have and an empty Penguin "Chukkas" pot. Go figure...
This happened while I was making the ani above. I liked it, so I saved it :)

This was an entry to an image challenge on b3ta.com - the question was for things that aren't safe for working with, so I put my inventor's cap on and came up with the LaserScreen. (NSFW = Not Safe For Work)

Need I say more?

If you don't agree with me here, you've either never used MSN or you're being paid by Microsoft. (This is as big as this one gets - no clicky.)

This was a T-shirt design originally, but it ended up on my mousemat. And now it's here.
It fights viruses...
Vadafone & Weetablix...
I don't think I really need to explain any further.
(No clicky.)

I think you'll agree that this has to be the worst of all... for now...
I don't really know why... good game, though!

It's the Humpback of Notre Dame.
(Yes, it's a-notre damn pun!)
My Wallace & Grommit style animation... except using Blu-Tack, because I didn't have any Plasticine.
The big silver thing is my keyboard...
The animation is a bit big (3mb) and it seems to run very jerkily in Internet Explorer.
As always, Firefox is fine.

Animating in three dimensions is difficult - especially when your model sticks to your fingers, its surroundings, and itself. So when I next thought of doing something with a basis in the real world, I stuck to drawings.
I drew everything on a single sheet of paper, then took a photo of the drawings and put them together in an animation using the GIMP.
As usual, click the still frames for animated goodness.

...and this is what I'm doing now. I cut out bits of paper and move them around to make a cartoon.
This is the only one I've made that's small enough to display as a picture - you can find another one here.
And yes, this particular one is yet another pun. I just can't help myself!

Another image challenge entry for b3ta. This one was to find new, alternative power sources...
And another. Who said Alastair Campbell never did anything good for the country?
Unbearable, aren't they?
Yet another alternative power thing. This time - KITTENS!!!
